Watercolor Leaves

When someone puts in a simple request (or at least one that I’m already set up to do), I’m on it. When one of my fellow designers let me know that she was looking for some paper or non-realistic leaves, I knew exactly what to do. I’ve been working a lot lately with my watercolors trying to create non-abstract kinds of things (kind of a challenge when one has been doing abstract art for so long). Sort of realistic, but not. OK … I’m rambling. Anyway, I decided to try my hand at painting some leaves … and that’s what this week’s CU product is — Watercolor Leaves. This pack contains 5 leaf stems, some grass, and a build-it-yourself leaf stem consisting of 4 leaves and 1 stem (I included an example). Check it out —

DSD 2015 CU Grab Bags

My DSD 2015 CU Grab Bags are now available and I can’t want to show them to you. I love grab bags myself … how else could you get so much CU stuff for such a low price. This first one is a Mixed Media Grab Gab that I did with Mariella (Laitha’s Designs). We started chatting a couple of months ago about doing one of these and finally got together to actually do it for DSD.

This next one is a Vintage Grab Bag that I did with my buddy Manu (Manu Scraps). I think it’s time she and I do a follow-up to our Uncle Giovanni Collection.

Last, but not least, is the Whole Lotta of Blooms Grab Bag that I did with Esther (Zesty Designs). I adore her flowers and since she lives down under she always has gorgeous blooms when everything is basically dying or already dead here (even without a drought).

More Gesso Overlays

It’s Saturday and I’m back to show you my latest CU releases. It’s more gesso — both the transparent overlays and the texture overlays. If you’re familiar with my earlier gesso, you’ll know that each texture overlays has a matching transparent overlay (Texture Overlays – Gesso 3 — Transparent Overlays – Gesso 3, etc.). These are on sale for 30% off thru October 3rd, but, naturally, the best deal is the bundle that you can get for 50% off.
